High prices for fuels, increasing ecological damage and chronic finance problems of the public hand speak for the modern Trolleybus system. Emission free and efficient as they are modern Trolleybus systems can solve the traffic problems of many towns more quickly and more cost-effectively than other Public Transport means.

The Trolleybus Working Group [TWG] of the UITP Bus Committee as well as TrolleyMotion want to convince authorities and public transport executive companies to preserve and to modernize their existing Trolleybus systems as well as to extend them or to set up new modern Trolleybus systems.

TrolleyMotion is an association of experts, representatives of the Trolleybus system industry [vehicles, overhead lines, power supply, passenger information systems etc.], successful Trolleybus companies, consultants and organizations promoting public transport.

The services of both institutions are various and cover information materials, position papers, the organization of workshops and meetings, specific consultations, dedicated lobbying work as well as presentations of successful Trolleybus systems.
